Dr. Xinming Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience, College of Medicine, and a courtesy faculty in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Dr. LiuÂ’s research mainly focuses on the development and evaluation of drug delivery systems, nanomedicine and small molecule prodrugs for treatment of human diseases. His research is highly technology- and science-driven, with strong translational emphasis on targeted therapy of HIV/AIDS, inflammatory diseases and orofacial diseases.
